The Sydney Seminar makes a return to Ryde TAFE on Tuesday 17th April and we have a big event planned.
Lots of interesting topics including workplace specific streams. We feel the streams are important as they allow delegates to discuss issues that are relevant to their everyday work. Each stream will have two presentations then time allocated to discuss general work matters. A great opportunity to swap ideas and get advise.
There are streams allocated for: Sportsfields, Golf, Bowling and Management
The plenary presentations for the entire group will include:
- The latest Workplace Health & Safety Legislation's and how they will effect you and your workplace. Presented by Phil Martin of Workplace Safety Australia
- Transitioning from the past to the present for St Michael's Golf Club. Darren Jones, Course Superintendent, will review the process the club have been through to update their work shed and create a new site that meets current OH&S standards.
- Turf Management Education. Frank Dempsey will talk about what options there are to further enhance your career and education in the turf industry through TAFE.
