The Tracker™ T-400 offers a very economical solution for supplementing seasonal watering needs of 1/4 acre (1000 m2) to 2 acre (8000 m2) areas. It is also ideal for irrigating athletic fields, cemeteries, or other large campuses where an underground system is impractical.
Built to last with precision German engineering and high quality materials, this portable powerhouse can irrigate an entire football field in just two passes.
Tracker™ T-400 requires minimal labor to operate. Powered by water, it pulls itself along a nylon cable and automatically shuts down when it reaches the end of it.
Simply connect Tracker™ to a 1'' (25 mm) reinforced heavyduty hose (which can be connected to a water supply at the end or sides of the field). Unroll the cable and anchor it to a stake at the opposite end of your field. Then set the speed control (which controls the application rate of the water) and turn on the water.

Watering Guide
* Maximum Field Size
The area which can be irrigated by the Tracker™ depends on the weather (temperature and supplemental rainfall) and the time available for watering. Well-fertilized, healthy grass requires approximately 0.35'' (9 mm) of water daily during the hottest time of the year, and about half of that during the cooler seasons.
Two sprinkler nozzles, #6 (8.8 GPM) and #7 (15 GPM) are supplied with the Tracker™ to accommodate varying watering requirements. The Tracker™ can drag up to 360 ft. (110 m) of hose allowing a maximum irrigated length of 400 ft. (122 m). The width of a travel lane is typically 70 to 85 feet (21 to 25 m). As a guideline, the Tracker™ will water about 2/3 acre (2,760 m2) in 8 hours.
* Water Source
The Tracker™ requires at least 9 GPM (34 l/min) at 50 psi (3,3 bars), which is typically available from 1'' (25 mm) or larger pipeline. Larger areas may require up to 15 GPM (57 l/min) at 85 psi (5,4 bars).
