It has started to fail and is damaging the shaft. The clutch fork assembly pushes on this part which then activates the clutch cone. Thanks Peter

Best Trim Mower

7 replies - Last reply at 29th Mar 11 03:46:18 - Any ideas out there on which is the best mower for around bunkers and the second cut around greens? Is there only two choices the JD 2653B or Toro Sidewinder? The JD looks better as its lighter which is good around unstable bunkers and for wear around greens. Any ideas appreciated

STIHL or Shindaiwa

8 replies - Last reply at 15th Oct 10 09:55:48 - Want to buy myself a brush cutter. Have Shindaiwa at work and really like them. Easy to use and they are treated pretty rough bouncing around the back of the gator blasted with sand etc etc they are good kit and mechanic seems to rate them. But I was brought up by the old man on the farm being told Stihl is the beez kneez and the only small two stroke you should find on the Aussie farm. So what do I buy? Is a public opinion to one being better than the other and what lasts longer engine wise? Go
