Hi guys i was recently talking to a greenkeeper who was using this machine in wet areas on fairways and also golf greens? has anybody heard of this before? i had a look online and it seems quite an old techinique which is quite severe on the surface , it also says it is a tempoary techinique , anybody no of this machine?

Vibra moling is an old renovation techiniqe but can be a great tool to have up your sleeve.
If your fairways have poor drainage you can pull this machine through the fairways to dirrect the water to lower area's of the rough. Ideally you would do this work coming out of winter to allow the slits to dry slightly allowing for good drianage over the next winter. I found it seemed to help the fairways for 2 winters then needed to be done again.
With a good operator the damage to the playing surface is minimal.
