koro topmaker
I would just like to reccomend the use of the koro topmaker as a solution to removal of thatch on cricket tables.
I recently had my square koro'd and topdressed with 16 tonnes of loam, and re-seeded, 5 weeks down the line the square is looking fantastic.
All rubbish has been removed and i have a clean top for next season. Thanks to Turfcare specialists ltd for making such a fine job of it.
Anybody out there who wants to improve their square, for the reasons mentioned above, I can not praise highly enough the koro operation from start to finish.

I can't agree with you more. This is the first year that I have gone really hard with our end of season renovations, We have in years gone by as most people had a massive population of POA and normal Heavy scarification hasnt made the sort of impression that I would like to see. This year I have had 3 1/2 pitches Fraize mowed Using the Field top maker (KORO) I must be truthful I was a little worried as the resulting green waste pile got bigger I wondered what I would or might not be left with!! but the results are supurb and along with a sand dressing, verti draining, seeding and fertiling (and water)This operation has leveled parts of the field, given the sort of surface that is required to play sport, and most important to me removed the Poa which has caused problems in the past. As the poa has gone the Rye which was seeded has now provided me with a healthy sward. I think this has opened my eyes to the way forward. Fraize mowing removes the sorts of debris that you dont normally get with heavy scarification (even with loads of passes) this together with scarification will give the results we all want. I cant wait till next year as i want more of the same.
