Just wondering what everyone thinks is the best fertilizer to give the wicket block a good kick over the christmas period during the short break we have.

Hi Scott
I would say if you are looking for a quick hit. I would go some Simplot Mini Pro at 3Kg Per strip. It will give you good color with plenty of leaf growth. Without producing too much thatch.

I agree with Josh any of the slow release ferts simplot have is pretty good for a quick boost. Heaps quicker than putting out mixing your own

boys....men...isn't your clay full of nutrient already? what does your soil test say? we use mainly nitrogen(urea) with a low biuret reading.Whats a bit of thatch?....scarify it out....I would rather have too much growth than the oppisite especially when having a multi purpose facilty!little and often always best approach, i say.

I'm a fan of using a good quality mini prill with the N as mu which should give you around 12 weeks steady feeding.

You can supplement in between with a soluble if required.
