Message Board - Other Sports: Linemarking Machines

In the market for a new linemarker

There seems to be that many machines to choose from now.
Supaturf, Fountain, Toro all have one but i'm looking at this Swancorp one looks like we could save a few bucks from it.

Anyone got any thoughts or seen it?

What do you all think is the best on the market now?

You could be opening up a can of worms with that question Shaun.

The linemarking companies on here seem to get every thread on here closed or removed haha

we use a superturf and had to modify it becasue it was too short im only a short ass had to extend the handles and it a pain too clean . go the kombi from toro its a great machine .

I found the Supa turf marker we had to be ok, but the kombi we purchased from Fleet last year was great how we could raise and lower the handles without having to do any modifications to the origanal machine.

Thanks for all the tips guys.

We had a play with 3 of the machines Toro, Fountain and Supaturf have to agree with some of the comments on the Supaturf machine. Not sure if it was the new model machine however as we used another clubs machine to trial it.

The V4 and Kombi we thought were neck and neck. Kombi came out top for us but only on price being 100% honest.

I really liked the knib on the V4 and it looked a good solid machine however the cleaning system on the Kombi is top notch and dead easy to use. Having another tank at the back with water to flush the lines is ideal. The Kombi also looked a bit smarter.

If you marked with lots of colours i think the V4 would be a good machine as they have a bucket you pull out which the Kombi couldnt do.

But as I said they were both very similar and great markers.
Thanks for your help.
