HELP!!!

somehow I have been elected to take care of 2 football pitches on a voluntary basis for a local small town.I don,t know the first thing about GROUNDSKEEPING so I,m looking for any tips,advice & good reading material, especially now as the pitches are really getting cut up. THANKS

You`re not the first person to be put in this position, and you won`t be the last. What sort of equipment do you have at your disposal, and have they given you any budget for fertiliser, marking etc? Once I`ve got an idea of what you`ve got, then I can point you in the right direction. Good luck.

HELP!!!

Johnboy. THANKS FOR YOUR SPEEDY REPLY. Both pitches laid last year by contractors & are drained & automaticaly waterad by 30 in ground sprinklers. Equipment consists of a TORO 3 cylinder mower, a WESTWOOD haytor MOWER, WATER filled roller & a basic line marker (have new lazer one in box)FUNDS AVAILABLE. Pitches realy cut up & 1 is holding water. looking into EARTHQUAKING?? So what do you think?
