sisis rotorrake 600
has anybody got a rotorrake 600 and how does it compare to the graden my club is thinking of buying a deep scarifier and just thought i would ask

I have demoed both machines on my golf greens. Set at exactly the same depth, tine size and spacing. I felt that the graden was the better machine because the surface was left stable after a pass, and six months later there is still a visible sign of where the sisis has been. In fairness they both pulled out similar amounts of material and the sisis is a lot cheaper but my gut feeling is to go for the graden. The collection box option is not attractive as you will be emptying it every thirty seconds! Try for yourself would be my advice.

i have used both machines,both machines are amazing in the amount of material which they extract,for me the graden is heaver in feeling and takes a bit more time in setting than the sisis rotorake 600,you can throw away the collection box on the sisis if you are deep scarifying as it fills so quickly you would need arms like garth to lift it time after time.Its down to finance and preference as both machines do a good job.
