The Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) has announced plans to stage a special half-day educational workshop for golf course superintendents. The workshop will be held in Kuala Lumpur on October 27 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

This session is open to all golf course superintendents for a nominal registration fee of Singapore $150.00. This will entitle all registrants to attend the workshop in the morning which will be followed by lunch and free admission to the afternoon session of the 2009 Asia Pacific Golf Summit which will be focused on matters relating to golf course management/maintenance. It will also entitle registrants to attend the Exhibition that will run in conjunction with the Summit at the PICC.

In announcing this, an AGIF spokesman said, “We have elected to hold this workshop in Kuala Lumpur because it will be staged during the staging of the Asia Pacific Golf Summit 2009 and we feel that all golf course superintendents will stand to benefit from attending this special session.”

Each attendee would receive a certificate acknowledging their participation in the structured workshop sponsored by the Asia Golf Industry Federation.
