The 2009 Women of Professional GolfFormer leading Australian Professional golfer Jenny Sevil is proud to present the 2nd edition of the “Women of Professional Golf” calendar.
Christina Beltran
Following the success of the inaugural calendar in 2007, Sevil was approached by players, sponsors and another deserving charity in the Make A Wish® Foundation, which brings magic and joy to children with life-threatening illness by granting a cherished wish, to produce a 2009 calendar. With overwhelming support from the golf industry and such a worthy recipient for monies raised from a percentage of calendar sales, Sevil embraced the opportunity and is honoured to present the 2009 edition.

A multiple winner on both the Australian and Japanese tours, Sevil is passionate about the giving back to the sport. Her aim is to promote a positive image for the game and the players who are members of Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG).

“The benefit of this project can be felt across the diverse industry that is Professional golf. The awareness, recognition, support and increased corporate opportunity for some of Australia’s most exciting female talent is being fostered, whether they are touring professionals, teaching/club professionals or specialising in corporate golf”. She says
Kristie Newton
Sevil is appreciative of all those who helped make this project possible and her business "Girls in Golf” would like to thank all the ALPG professionals for being a part of this exciting project and for helping raise funds and awareness for such a worthy charity.

“A Special thank you to our Photographer Pete Nash and make-up artist Lisa Collins who embraced this project and all the sponsors and supporters, especially ALPG who have made this project possible. I would also like to thank you – the consumer for your continued support of such a worthy promotional and charity based project which will help Women’s Professional Golf in Australia to continue to prosper and achieve the recognition it truly deserves”
Kate Coombes
The Calendar is also a fantastic chance for up and coming young players to raise their profile. Some of the young golfers featured such as Kate Coombes, Kristie Smith, Daniellle Montgomery, Rochelle Miiles and Sunny Park, have all turned pro in the last two years.

Pitchcare Oceania is proud to support this great idea and would like to direct everyone to our online shop to snap up these eye catching calendars for 2009.

No percentage of the sale of the calendar is kept by Pitchcare. Please help support this worthy cause. To Buy one of the calendars head to www.pitchcare.com.au/shop/product/19/12
