ParklandWe celebrated our 21st birthday at the Turf Conference & trade show in July. A real highlight was Rob Baxter's star perfomance whilst hypnotised at the Toro Dinner and the festivities that continued at our joint Toro and NZGCSA golf tournament at Gulf Harbour.

On top of our 21st birthday stand which was a wall of wonderful memories that we and our clients had experienced throughout the 21 years we have been in business, we also supported the golf industry room at the conference and the Toro conference dinner. Rob did more than his fair share to make sure the event was a success by agreeing to be part of the night's entertainment and be hypnotised. From believing he had won the lotto to having his feet stuck to the floor and a brief stint as Michael Jackson (for video footage click here) he certainly supplied a lot of laughs.

After the weather bomb that went through the North Island early in the week I was certainly saying my prayers for a fine day for the Golf on Thursday and Gulf Harbour certainly didn't disappoint. It was an absolutely beautiful day up there and although Brad and co tried to tell us that it was like that every day we weren't convinced. The course was in great condition and a great day was had by all, we had a pro photographer there to document the action - check out the pics here.

A big thanks to Brad and the team at Golf Harbour for putting on a great day for all of us.
Prizes were taken out by:
Best Gross - Jamie McCorkindale - 76
Best Nett - David Sherman - 67
Best Stableford - Sinclair Hogan - 37
Best Team - Sinclair Hogan, Ian Simpson, Peter Boyd, Layne Young
Straightest Drive - Paul Butler
Nearest to the Pin - Dean Murphy
