Magazine - Small Sided Games Goal Post Changes

The FFA (Football Federation Australia) have just released the addendum to their small-sided games handbook and they have changed the goal post sizing for the under 8 & 9 age groups.

The new sizes for goals for this group are:
Minimum: 2.5m x 2.0m
Maximum: 3.0m x 2.0m

For the under 8 & 9 age groups it is recommended that clubs use 3m x 2m goal posts. 5m x 2m goal posts are acceptable for use for these age groups but it is advised that when goal posts are replaced the new 3m x 2m goal size should be adopted.
