Warringah Council are using Bang the Table's online engagement platform EngagementHQ to help to plan for the future of Warringah Oval - the home of the Manly Sea Eagles NRL team.
Brookvale Oval
Warringah Council owns and manages Brookvale Park, which includes Brookvale Oval. ‘Brookie’ needs a cash injection for major capital renewal works if it is to continue as the home of the Manly Sea Eagles in the long term. Council want to explore options to reduce the cost of renewing the Oval in the future without unduly burdening ratepayers. A plan is needed to provide for the sustainable renewal of the Park and to outline how all uses can be managed together.

Before making a decision, Council is undertaking extensive community consultation to identify options for the Oval and to understand community preferences about the future of the Park.

A news page for the project and a series of forums are being hosted on Council's branded EngagementHQ site 'Your Say Warringah' and are running in conjunction with a comprehensive program of other community engagement initiatives. The first forum has already attracted around 600 contributions from the community with a range of views expressed.
