The Ohio Program prides itself in trying to make a different in young people's lives. The Turf profession as you all know is a very male dominated industry... but they have been fortunate to have some very good young ladies on the program over the years. A great gal who has been through the program recently is Penny Deehan from Australia.
Plenty of ladies have been through the program in recent years names like Wendy O'Brien and Sara Kerr come to mind, others like Kasee Marxsen, Kirsty Herring,Siobhan from Ireland, and Tennille from NZ, along with many more. We are fortunate to have them come through our program.
For all you girls out there, you can take inspiration from her positive enthusiastic approach in this video.You can see she loves the profession. And now look at her, back in Australia, working at one of the best courses, NSW, La Perouse.
If you want to get on this program, be prepared to carry the flag for these girls are not afraid of long hours and hard work, but ready for a life changing experience.
