Massey Ferguson has revised its 1500 Series compact tractor range with the introduction of the MF 1529M, a 28hp three-cylinder model with an 8 forward, 8 reverse Synchro-Shuttle transmission giving forward speeds from 2.3 - 27km/h.
For those requiring slower speeds for drainage and turf aeration work, Massey Ferguson offers a creep speed option to provide a 12 forward, 12 reverse gearbox with a minimum forward speed of just 0.5km/h
Replacing the MF 1528 in the 1500 Series line-up, the new model joins the 32hp MF 1532M launched by the company at BTME 2008. These two new four-wheel drive tractors have been purpose-designed to appeal to golf courses, parks and grounds staff, landscapers and professional gardeners wanting a rugged, no-frills, yet highly versatile tractor capable of handling cost-effectively a wide range of tasks throughout the year.
Typical applications include soil aeration and cultivation, fertiliser spreading, over-seeding, top dressing, trailer towing and front-end loading.
