For larger lifestyle farmers up to 25 hectares, contractors and general utility tractor users who are looking for an affordable tractor with an easy to operate transmission, Kubota offers the MX5100H hydrostatic.
The new 50 horsepower hydrostatic MX5100 model complements the very successful MX5100D gear drive model introduced in 2008.
Whether the MX5100 hydrostatic (HST) is used with the new Kubota loader or pulling an implement, the tractor will perform every task smoothly and efficiently. Inexperienced operators in particular will find the HST foot pedal operated transmission very user friendly, compared to the usual partially synchronized gear stick operated transmissions found on budget tractors of this size.
The hydraulic servo system of the MX5100 reduces the amount of foot pressure required to activate the hydrostatic transmission for more responsive, smoother performance regardless of load. A three speed range lever and cruise control are located within easy reach. The cruise control allows the operator to set a constant work speed without having to keep his foot on the HST pedal.
With 36 litre per minute hydraulic pump flow, cat one and cat two telescopic lower link ends and an impressive lift capacity of 1050kg 610mm behind the lift point, the MX5100 can handle a range of applications.
Instead of a dry PTO clutch usually found on conventional budget tractors, the MX5100 engages the PTO via a wet clutch for smoother engagement of the implement and longer clutch life expectancy.
The 4 wheel drive MX5100H tractor is powered by a turbo-charged, 50hp 4 cylinder Kubota diesel engine for superior performance. Delivering an impressive 42.5 PTO horsepower, the engine incorporates an in built balancer to minimise vibration and noise. This V2403 engine also complies with EPA Interim Tier 4 emission regulations for cleaner emissions.
A full opening bonnet features gas struts for easy opening allowing operators to perform routine maintenance quickly and efficiently. The full-flat operator platform enables safe mounting and dismounting with step while the spacious 900millimetres between fenders allows operators plenty of room
Combined with the new Kubota LA854-B loader, the hydrostatic transmission allows operators to change between forward and reverse with absolute ease, making the MX5100 the ideal loader tractor.
With mechanical self-levelling this loader can achieve a phenomenal 2.8 metres lift height to the pivot point. A third function valve and 4-in-1 bucket are optional equipment while the skid steer type quick coupler is standard.
Kubota offers a new warranty of 24month or 1500 hours - whichever occurs first for the MX5100 tractor, giving owners extra peace of mind.
