As our drought continues, more and more council and clubs are looking at ways to stay ahead of the game.
Plenty Tennis Club
Plenty Tennis Club, in Melbourne's northern suburbs and Nilumbikshire council chose TigerTurf to upgrade their existing red porous courts. Traditional red porous courts require watering to play on which is just unsustainable in today's climate.

TigerTurf's construction crew stripped off all of the existing loose material and graded the base, followed by further consolidation methods to maximize the porosity of the courts. Once consolidated, a 30mm layer of porous asphalt was installed to complete the thorough base works, ensuring stability, permeability and performance. TigerTurf Tournament 1000, a 19mm, dense, polypropylene surface was installed in a combination of colours, olive and forest green. Tournament 1000 is classified 'medium fast' by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) court pace classification.

TigerTurf has also secured projects at Eaglemont TC, Plenty TC, Diamond Creek TC, Buckley Park TC and Sunshine North. The prestigious Eaglemont Tennis Club, in Melbourne’s north east, is the fourth club in Melbourne to choose TigerTurf ClayTurf.
