The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia owns a piece of golfing history. The East Course at the Grange Golf Club was the site of Greg Norman's first victory as a professional.

The Grange Golf ClubIn only his fourth professional tournament, Norman coasted to a five-shot victory, winning the 1976 West Lakes Classic over the likes of established golfing legends, David Graham, Graham Marsh, Bruce Devlin and Bruce Crampton. Norman will return to the site of his first professional victory to focus his efforts on a golf course re-design.

The Greg Norman Golf Course Design Company has been selected over numerous architects to redesign the East Course of The Grange Golf Club.

"This course will always be special to me," said Norman. "It's the site of my first professional victory and I am honored they have selected my design company to redesign the course where I won my first professional tournament. It will be like going back in history."

"The Grange Golf Club cherishes the relationship that has developed with Greg over the years," said Barry Linke of The Grange Golf Club. "Ever since Greg won his first professional tournament here, there has been a unique relationship between the club and Greg. Greg visited our course 20 years later in 1996 when we dedicated the 1st hole on our East course in his honor and then wrote the forward for our history book in 1997. We are excited to continue our unique relationship with Greg by selecting him to redesign the East Course at our club."
