Empire is a Zoysia turf, which is often known as EZ grass due to its low maintenance. It needs less mowing, fertilising and edging than Buffalo, Couch, and Kikuyu, and is more disease and lawn grub resistant.
One third the mowing of Kikuyu, half the mowing of Couch, and 30% less than Buffalo.
