While the application is for 650 homes to be built on the site, the council refused a rezoning application by the same developers in 2009 for 1200 dwellings. They also decided to carry out an onsite inspection before the council decides whether to submit a planning proposal to the state planning department.

Riverlands is a picturesque, mildly undulating, tree lined 18 hole golf course. Situated alongside the scenic Georges River in south-west Sydney the golf course is private, tranquil and peaceful. Both Ladies and Gentlemen can the Par 67 Mens and Par 68 Ladies layout.

This well established Golf Course has kikuyu fairways, bent greens, a water carry Par 3 and is fully maintained.
