Last Thursday, November 17, Bayer held a Turf and Ornamental Research Field Day at their Research Facility jointly run with the University of Sydney in Cobbity, NSW. The wet weather didn’t deter 100 guests (golf superintendents, turf managers, council greenkeepers, distributors and turf consultants) from attending the event.

Bayer Environmental Science recently hosted a series of seminars throughout Australia, in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Professor Fred Yelverton was the International guest speaker at each of these seminars. Fred is Professor of Crop Science and Extension Specialist at North Carolina State University, and is also Co-director of the Centre for Turfgrass Environmental Research and Education
