The donation of a ride-on mower with advanced technology will soon be helping to maintain a slice of Australian history in Hawkesbury, NSW.
Toro Australia has donated a Z-Master G3 Series High Performance Zero Turn Mower valued at more than $15,000 to the Australiana Pioneer Village, a not-for-profit heritage listed village featuring original colonial buildings, artefacts and history from the early 1800's.
The ride-on mower was presented to the Friends of the Australiana Pioneer Village ground staff committee: ,Bob and Kerry Gannell., on Wednesday, May 30 by Mr Paul Prout, Toro's National Corporate Account Manager, Equipment. The donation was made as part of Toro's annual Company Giving Program, an international activity with a primary focus on supporting organisations that preserve the outdoor environment.
Ms Danielle Wheeler, past president of the Australiana Pioneer Village said the Toro Z-Master Professional G3 Series mower would significantly contribute to increasing maintenance efficiencies. "We have a strong focus on maintaining the environment and landscape within the village to ensure it is a place that visitors can enjoy for many generations to come," Ms Wheeler said.
"The village is run by passionate and hardworking volunteers who are dedicated to preserving the irreplaceable history it holds. The Toro Z-Master Professional G3 Series mower will reduce the time our volunteers are required to spend on the ongoing maintenance of the 27-acre village and be invaluable at our regular working bees"
"The mower has many features that will improve efficiency within the village and provide our staff with more time to manage and maintain other aspects of the heritage asset." Mr Prout said the Friends of the Australiana Pioneer Village were worthy recipients of the mower.
"The Z-Master Professional G3 Series mower features TURBOFORCE® cutting technology, the toughest spindle assemblies, a low centre of gravity for increased stability, superior manoeuvrability, improved comfort, and enhanced traction and control for industry leading performance," Mr Prout said.
"Volunteers work tirelessly to maintain the village for visitors and the community to enjoy, and we hope the Z-Master Professional G3 Series mower will help to make this process easier and more efficient for them."
