Magazine: New Diesel Powered Toro Traxmaster Compact Utility Loader
By Parkland Press in Industry News on 9th Aug 2008 6:00
The Toro Company has introduced its new Traxmaster® TX 525 compact utility loader that features a 25-horsepower Kubota® diesel engine. The TX
525 is an ideal machine for contractors or rental companies looking for a utility loader that delivers more torque when using attachments in aggressive or rocky conditions. It joins one of the most extensive lines of compact utility loaders on the market today.

Compared to other models, the TX 525 diesel unit offers extra torque, longer engine life and increased hydraulic flow for enhanced performance of ground-engaging attachments. The model is compatible with Toro’s 35-plus compact utility loader attachments - making it well suited for such applications as installing irrigation systems, preparing seedbeds, material hauling and handling, constructing decks and fences, tree planting, demolishing structures and pond building.
In addition to the extra power it delivers, the TX 525 is a convenient choice for operators who currently use all diesel-powered equipment. “It provides the highest power-to-weight ratio and the lightest footprint in the compact utility loader market. We’ve delivered the extra power and durability of a diesel without sacrificing the light weight and go-almostanywhere width that users expect from a Toro Traxmaster loader,” said Greg Lawrence, Marketing Product Manager for Traxmaster®.
The TX 525 comes in 2 versions with wide and narrow track options.
The TX 525 Narrow Track delivers the power and performance of the Wide Track but in a slimmer profile that’s ideal for manoeuvring in tight spaces. With an overall width of 86 cm. The Narrow Track machine is all about accessibility. It easily fits through doors and gates that are 90 cm wide or slightly less, providing entry to interior and exterior spaces previously inaccessible with a loader. As a result, operators are able to put a hydraulic power plant on their job site to make them more productive.
