Australia's 50 Biggest Sporting Stadiums
With Australia about to undertake a bid on the 2018 Football (soccer) World Cup, Pitchcare Oceania thought it about time to have a look at our great stadiums, and compile a list of our top 50 stadiums for capacity.
Australia need between 9-12 stadiums with over 40,000 capacity, for the World Cup.
Those listed are used for A.F.L, Rugby League & Union, Cricket, Soccer and other sporting events.
Not included are horse racing tracks and car & bike racing tracks.
Of our biggest 5 stadiums, 4 are ovals with just 1 being a traditional football pitch rectangle.
