Sadly, we have said goodbye to Amanda Kelly and Suzi Dowsett in accounts but welcome Rhiannon Hansen, Jaklina Petrov and Lisa Salerno.
Our design team is expanding with Miles Cuffe and Andrew Radze supporting Don Vary. Nigel and Lisa Bradley are settling into our WA office as our new State Manager and Sales & Operations Co-ordinator.
Scott Rixon joins Martin and Gloria as our State Sales Manager in Queensland. James Mackie joins us as Lee Yelland’s replacement as National Manager of Landscape. James has a very interesting background in sales and marketing management with Ford in the UK and Melbourne.
Warren Swift is our new National Operations Manager and Peter Gallagher joins David Hopwood in our National Bowls Division.
The end of 2008 saw two Tigers have a rush of blood to the head! Nick Kerr, our Victorian Sales Manager, jumped out of a plane for fun! ‘Being pushed out of a plane at 10,000 feet was an amazing feeling; I didn’t realize free falling at 220km would pull my hair out!’
Jo Prothero, our National Marketing Manager, took on the challenge of trekking to Base Camp Everest, in Nepal. “The trip was 23 days in total and we covered 180km’s from Lukla to Base Camp. It was a once in a lifetime experience, fantastic scenery and great people, the biggest challenge was the cold (as low as minus 25 degrees) and no shower for 3 weeks!’

We are continuing our support of Australian Bowls with renewed agreements with Bowls SA and WA. 2009 will see us working with Capital Football in ACT promoting synthetic surfaces for Football. At TigerTurf we are committed to grass roots footy and are supporting Yarrambat JFC with their coaching program again this year.
Victorian Bushfires
It is with sad hearts that all TigerTurf employees have witnessed the tragic bushfires. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families who have lost their loved ones and homes in the devastating bushfires, in particular those within our family who have been directly affected.
