Magazine: School to star on TV thanks to John Clowes.

It will be lights, camera, action for St Francis Catholic Primary School when the school is broadcast across the nation on Wednesday.
The school will be featured nationally on the Today Show when weatherman Steven Jacobs broadcasts live from the Tannum Sands school throughout the morning. “It's exciting and such wonderful news for the school,” assistant principal religion Lorrie-Ann Maurer said.“This is largely happening because of John Clowes (school groundsman) and the environmental initiatives he has brought to the school.”
The cross-overs to Steven Jacobs will focus on the environmental initiatives and projects within the school and will include interviews with school principal Andy Nicholls, John Clowes, teaching staff and school students. Suggestions forwarded to the filming crew include featuring the school's weather station, water harvesting scheme, Environmental Science Centre, the St Francis bronzed plaque featuring unique wildlife, the Mt La Verna reflection area, the bluescope tank-a-day and the school's resident kangaroo population.
