Dairy Farmers StadiumIn a world first operation, Dairy Farmers Stadium in North Queensland, the home of the North QLD Cowboys NRL Team has just installed a brand new set of 16m fibreglass rugby league posts from PILA.

The first goal posts of their kind anywhere in the world, Dairy Farmers Stadium through Stadiums Queensland have backed PILA group’s new product to be the first recipients of the new goals.

Stadiums Queensland chose PILA’s fibreglass goal posts over steel or aluminium for their strength, durability and innovation, ensuring they purchased the best value for money product available. Fibreglass posts are much more sustainable than aluminium or steel posts, giving another very positive and relevant aspect to the purchase. 

Bruce Fouracre from Dairy Farmers Stadium has been working with PILA from the start on this project and was extremely excited about the arrivaDairy Farmers Stadiuml of the new posts. To ensure the installation went smoothly, PILA General Manager Reece Wooldridge and PILA Australasia Production Manager
Craig Patrick flew from Sydney and Asia respectively at no charge to the client, to be on site and offer assistance and advice; part of the personal customer service PILA is renowned for.

PILA’s new 16m fibreglass goal posts have been specifically designed for easy transport to site and installation. Their 3-piece design ensures freight to anywhere in the world is cost effective as no single length iDairy Farmers Stadiums over 6m and once on site the 3 pieces simply slot together to form one rigid pole.

To make installation even easier, PILA uses an exclusive custom bracket system to clamp the cross bar to the uprights. The brackets are adjustable at both ends of the crossbar so the crossbar can be levelled even if the ground is uneven.
