PILA GroupWhen the NRL approached PILA to hire goal posts for the NRL 2009 Season Launch they required a fast yet professional solution to get the goals to the site, install and remove them without damagingg the ground at the event location at the Domain in Sydney.

The NRL has previously hired PILA goals for the 2008 ARL Centenary Celebrations at Fox Studios in Sydney with great success.

For the 2009 Season Launch at the Domain in Sydney on 4th March 2009, the NRL chose PILA’s 9m fibreglass league goal posts with their unique ground screw base system for their lightweight design and ease of installation and removal.

The goals are designed in a 2-piece format to allow easy transportation to and around the event site. The goals are then assembled on site and are easily stood by 2 men with no need for tools or machinery, preventing damage to the site surface.

Along with no machinery needed for installation the unique ground screw system leaves no visible damage to the ground after removal of the goals; perfect for event sites.

To make installation even easier, PILA uses an exclusive custom bracket system to clamp the cross bar to the uprights. The brackets are adjustable at both ends of the crossbar so the crossbar can be leveled even if the ground is uneven.

PILA's fibreglass rugby league goal posts goals are manufactured in accordance with Australian and European Standards and have been designed for everyday use and comply with the appropriate safety and sports competition standards. They are backed by our 5-year warranty for peace of mind and value for money, making PILA rugby league goals the #1 choice for Australian councils, clubs and schools.
