The Camden Lakeside Country Club is a Member and Corporate Golf Course, located in New South Wales, in the Camden Local Government Area within 50 minutes drive from Sydney CBD.
Camden Lakeside Country Club is a par 72 course of 6400 metres. The only course in Sydney to be designed by five (5) time British Open Winner, Peter Thomson AO CBE and his design partners, Ross Perrett and Mike Wolveridge. It is a links style course, embracing a traditional golf heritage with three (3) tee positions available to suit golfers of all levels.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to take responsibility for managing the maintenance of our highly regarded golf course. In addition, you will oversee the maintenance program of the gardens and surrounds of Camden Valley Golf Resort Clubhouse and Motel facilities.
Ideally, you will have experience in managing a similar size course with a maintenenace team of eleven (11) staff. You will also have time management and program management as one of your strengths, strong and proven people management skills, and a passion for producing a quality outcome.
Success in this role will be achieved through excellent organisation and communications skills, meeting deadlines and have a strong eye for detail.
The successful applicant is required to plan and develop an annual budget and monitor this on a monthly basis, to ensure all expenditure is within budget. The incumbent is also required to attend monthly consultative committee meetings, provide a status report, answer queries, and follow up on any issues raised.
